Lucky dogs end up being adopted by loving families around Canada but many of them spend years or stay there forever waiting to be adopted.

According to this statistical report, 20,239 dogs were admitted to different animal shelters in 2020. Of these 20,239 dogs, 30% were reclaimed, 48% were adopted, and 12% were euthanized. Yes! Euthanized.

Wondering how to save dogs from being euthanized? Either sponsor them or adopt them.

Every year animal shelters collect funds, run campaigns, and spread awareness among people so these poor dogs could be adopted. Still, a big number of dogs are left there for being euthanized.
