Key Similarities:
Poodle is considered the second-most intelligent dog breed in the world and both breeds, i.e., Standard Bernedoodle and St Berdoodle inherit enough from their Poodle parent.
These dogs are also known for their socio-friendly behavior and they make friends with strangers and other dogs quite often.
Both breeds make strong bonds with their humans and prefer to stay around them. Along with that, they are good with kids and elders.
Key Differences:
One of the major differences between both breeds is their size. A Standard Bernedoodle will hardly grow up to 100 lbs while a St Berdoodle may grow up to 200 lbs, just because of its St Bernard parent which is a large-sized dog.
All Bernedoodle types usually love to exercise and walk on a daily basis. On the other side, a St Berdoodle could be a lazy dog because St Bernard is considered one of the laziest dogs. So their owners need to motivate/encourage them for exercises.
Final words:
So, it was a detailed comparison between both the large-sized Poodle crosses and hopefully, you can make a choice between a Standard Bernedoodle and St Berdoodle.
Regardless of all the differences, both breeds are wonderful and highly affectionate. Still, make sure you have enough budget to get them and raise them.

How can you tell how much a saint berdoodle will weigh as an adult? We are looking at adopting a 1 and 1/2 year old who weighs 90 pounds.
I hear this breed can weigh as much as 200 pounds , and we really don’t think we would like a dog that big.
Thank you
It is unpredictable. If you can’t go with a big dog, consider getting a Mini Bernedoodle or Goldendoodle.
